As I have already mentioned no engines or other stuff is required to create a blog. The engines are just provided to get you started in no time at all. For example, Orchard, Umbraco or Wordpress. They are all just engines. You can write them all yourself with keeping your own needs in mind. A blog is simply a website with a database that stores each of the post that you create. The posts are stored in order to fetch the later. The table, Table: Posts PostID | PostTitle | PostContent | PostTime | PostAdditionalColumns Can be filled using SQL commands so that each of the post is a new record in your database table. I am sure you are well aware of SQL commands for INSERT INTO and SELECT ( or other operations ).There is no need to be using ASP.NET MVC only, the first website I created was using Web Pages.

Hi Afzaal, I searched Google but they say for only MVC applications. I am designing a web application. So how to create or allow a user to create a blog without any blog engines? A)How to start this blog? This are the Following things i want to show on my blog. 1)First page:- My details ,Photo ,Skill ,Updates. 2)Second Page:- Updates Like Asp.net,C#,HTML,CSS,javascript (What sre the new things related to this language). 3)Third Page :-questions and anser page.(communicate with people through chat).

A blog is just a database-oriented website, where the data is pulled from a database. The data in the database are your blog posts, you store them using the SQL commands and then you retrieve them to preview them to users. It depends on your database systems (SQL Server or MySQL etc) and also on how you create your schema and how you want to submit the posts, the way you want to create a system. The HTML is just to represent the UI for your system, otherwise the main logic depends on your SQL statements and your server-side code. If you can start your project, I would love to help you out on the process! :-)
