How to create our own calendar in asp.net c#?

create calendar without using any online scripts.Create our own script and css for calendar.

Raja Ganapathy In my project i have starting date and ending date field so,i create my own calendar i have validate the start date and end date.so only i ask own calendar. Why bother creating your own calendar if your goal is already taken cared of the existing calendar controls? If you just need to validate two dates then you can simple use two TextBoxes. Let the user input the date and do the validation. Now if there's a need for them to pick a date then use the existing calendar control that is available. The point is why re-invent the wheel when it's not necessary? Just my opinion. Thanks.

Hi Francis, Since this thread on calender was there, I did not post a new post on the site. I am sorry if you disliked this. As far as my portal requirement is there, I need the following views - https://doc.daypilot.org/month/view-types/ Year , Month and Week view of a calender as given in the above link. Also, when ever the user opens the links, he/she must get alerts / reminders. This is where I am stuck up.

But I don't know about your nature of the project or your "client" is very much specific on this. If you still want to create your own version just take the source code from the above urls which I have posted and go with it.

Hi... One more query related to this post .... How to make a schedular / planner using JQuery just like in Microsoft Outlook ?? The user can see month-view / date-view/year-view calender ... and can click on any day - plan something and set a reminder for the same ?? Please guide if you have any idea about this ...
