How to create stand alone exe file in vs2010

hi i have to create a stand alone exe file . i dnt know the process. so can anybody brifley explain steps to create the stand alone exe file file.

Hi SV To Create a Stand alone exe file you can create a setup project Here is the steps by which you can create setup project Go To Solution Explorer Right Click Add New Project Go To Setup & Deployments Add Setup Project which means Creates a Windows Installer project to which files can be added. This project type is the most generic of the five. Right click on Setup project View File system In file system you can see a folder called Application folder Right click Add --> Project output Add Primary output from the Popup Window Build It This will create a windows installer file in the Project location.
