How to create table in database to store tree view parent and child node.

Hi.. I am working on tree view I have four parent nodes and and there sub child. So should I have to maintain in table in database.. any body help please..

hi friend You can create a table structure like this in your database: Parent Table ParentId ParentName Child Table ParentId ChildID ChildName SubChild Table: ChildID GrandChildName Now you just have to retrieve the nodes in a right hierarchy to get the elements and save them into database. GetAll the parents using GetSibling of parents and Get all the childs and save them respectively into db. Hope this helps you.
