how to customise detailsview ?

Hai to all I am working on details view data bound controlin this i want to bind data using sqldatasource my requirement is i want to keep two buttons save and cancle. whenever click on save button hide the savecancle and visible the print and cancle buttons. whenever add the sqldatasource we get the deleteeditnew linkswhen ever click on 'new' link button i want savecancel buttons in footer of details view plz help me Thanks inadvance.
