Try as below- DataTable dt1 = ds . Tables [ 0 ]; foreach ( DataRowView dr in dt1 . DefaultView ) { dr . Row . Delete (); } // Finale step remove the deleted rows dt1 . Hi Before everyone jumps on the ' You can't delete rows in an Enumeration ' bandwagon you need to first realize that DataTables are transactional  and do not technically purge changes until you call AcceptChanges() . Try this code : ds.Tables[0].Rows[0].Delete(); ds .Tables[0].AcceptChanges(); Or ds.Tables[TableName].Rows[0].Delete(); ds.Tables[TableName].AcceptChanges();
