How to destroy an object?

You can destroy an object by setting all references to it to null and then waiting for the garbage collector to get around to calling its destructor (if any) and reclaiming the memory it was using. Alternatively you can force an immediate garbage collection by calling GC.Collect().

Hi If an object has a Dispose() method you need to call it before it goes out of scope. You can use the using keyword to do this for you automatically using (Graphics gr = Graphics.FromBitmap(bm)) { // do stuff }// Regards Iftikar
