Your question is not pretty clear. If you want to remove the blinking cursor without disabling the ricjtext box simply set-- richtextbox.focus=false; or if you want to disable the richtextbox simply set-- richtextbox.enabled=false;

when you say disable do you mean not display it at all? I don't think there is a way to do that with C# other than maybe using a label or disabling the rich text box. I think you can still set the color properties if its not enabled. Other than that you would probably have to make a call to win32 API's... (not 100% sure though).
