how to dispaly paragraph in label as per format

Question

hi friend I retrieving data from database and assign to label but data was very lengthy and also formatted data. while displaying in label result was compressed format. But i want to display data as per formatted in database. Following have sample data. ex: string data= Languages: 1)c++ 2)java 3)C#  Please help me

if you dont have ajax toolkit then downlaod first from here http://ajaxcontroltoolkit.codeplex.com/releases/view/43475 then as you know we found the ajax editor control in toolbox which will looks like this at runtime.. Now provide this instead of text box.. this will insert data in the format that you provide in this.. and you can use the Editor1.Content property for table's fieds; for ex. for field Discription=Editor1.Content It will automatically store the field value in table as  hello hows you? Are you fine?  Also if you use datalist  datagrid etc data controls then in edititem template provide editor control instead of textbox if this info help you then plz mark my answer

Hi friend to achieve you data with lay out you have to save it with html tags formatted. for eg: if you print this format in html page you have to write it like this:  Languages: C++ Java c#  save it as it is in database and print it into a label and you'll see that it automatically convert into format like Languages: 1)c++ 2)java 3)C# this is how your Editor contorl works like you can see here in c# corner though which you post your questions.. Hi.. when you are inserting data into database table which control u are using? If you using textbox thn i advice you to use the ajax 's editor control without toolbar and to display text its literal is better control than label as i have used .. because i also have one field like description which contains lengthy text
