how to display grand total in Crystal Report

Hello friends i have student details report. and displaying gender as F and M . now i want to count how many Female and Male in report .. hope you understand what i want ... Thanks in Advance

1) Create Two running total formula. One for counting male and other one for counting female. 2) When you create the formula In the Create Running Total Field dialog select Use a formula under the evaluate section. In the formula type = 'M' 3) Do the similar one for female. Drag and drop the formula when you to display the counts. [Use Report footer for meaningful display of the count]
