How to export 2 gridview and chart into excel?

Question

Hi I am new to this and have a requirement to export 2 gridviews and chart into same excel sheet using c#. Any help is much appreciated. Regards Tushar Goel

I am using Microsoft chart control. i have created one temp image folder in c:\. now when i click on the button  one text file is added in that folder but no image. So i cannot use tht path for upload the image as per ur post.. Sorry for asking many question..

I don't know about the chart(s) and you probably need to be more specific about that. To export data from a gridview if this is for an ASP .Net application then it should be in an ASP .Net forum. Theoretically speaking a GridView or a DataGridView typically has data from a data source such as a database. If it does then it is usually easier to export from the data source not the control. You can write to the Excel worksheet in one of two ways; either using ADO .Net or by using the Excel object model. Probably ADO .Net would be easier but what to use depends on various things such as your personal preference.

I am able to export multiple gridviews into excel but cannot able to export chart into same excel. I am looking for that..

On Export button I suggest you create a DataSet from data coming from both GridView controls then create an in-memory GridView and then Export. At least this is one way to do it.
