How to extract text from simple image?

Question

Hi now days I am working on project it will need to read the matter or text from scanned image. Somebody can tell me how can I able to Read text from imported images in my project. Tanks in advance!

You can try Microsoft office document imaging(MODI) library but image should be .mdi or .tiff file you can add reference of MODI dll in your project than try this: Dim docs As New MODI.Document docs.Create(Imagepath ) miDoc.Create() Dim strWordInfo as string strWordInfo = miDoc.Images(0).Layout.Text Thank You
