How to filter duplicate records in sql

select vCompanyNamevemailid from tblmembers here i dont want duplicate vCompanyName itried with distinct but not working pls help..

Hi you may try this. (Placed Without Test) . I suggest you to use UniqueIndexes for Columns in a Table So that can query with out any duplicate filters. select vCompanyNamevemailid from tblmembers Group By vCompanyName vemailid Having Count(*) > 1 --------------------------------------------- thank You

you can use group by. select vCompanyName min(vemailid) from tblmembers group by vCompanyName you can set aggr. function a/c to your requirement. if you want your data only once company name and multiple email corresponding company then you should use frontend logic to hide multiple company name. Describe you problem in tabular manner show that what data you want in which manner
