How to find Max Date

HI you can convert the date and select max like sudipta replied you. like SELECT MAX(Convert(varchar[date]106)) FROM #temp_table

Hi Agree with Sudipta Sanyal using Max function you can find out maximum value of date in the table. MAX ignores any null values and Max function is also work with varchar and nvarchar type filed. hope this will help you.
