Dear All How to find the other application events through c# suppose i want to know the state of Msword application whether it is minimized or in maximize state how to find that using c#. any help is appreciated Thanks in advance.

If you need to receive all messages sent to a window in another application you must use C++ to write a system hook.

There are a couple of Win32 API functions IsIconic() and IsZoomed() which you can P/Invoke to determine whether a window is minimized or maximized respectively. Their signatures are as follows: [DllImport(user32.dll)] static extern bool IsIconic(IntPtr hWnd); [DllImport(user32.dll)] static extern bool IsZoomed(IntPtr hWnd); So assuming you've been able to obtain the handle of the window you want to test (using Process.MainWindowHandle or otherwise) then these functions can tell you what the current window state is.
