How to generate PDF document and display in MVC

Question

I need to generate multiple PDF documents on click of a button in view page. Content of the document is based out of a template and data needs to be written dynamically from databse.

The generated PDF documents should be displayed in a tabular format and on click of each record, respective PDF document should be opened to the user

What would be the best option for this requirement?
