How to get a table details using linq to sql storedprocedure

Question

Hi am creating a stored procedure for a table like below

Create PROCEDURE uspGetTeam(

@TeamID INT,
@TeamName nvarchar(50),
@TeamStatus int

)
AS
BEGIN
SELECT @TeamID=TeamID, @TeamName=TeamName,@TeamStatus=TeamStatus FROM Team WHERE TeamID=@TeamID
END

using these stored procedure to get the details using linq to sql

hi am rewrite the code like this : public TeamData GetTeamDetails(int teamid) { var getteam= (from t in _DataContext.uspGetTeam where t.TeamID==teamid select new TeamData {TeamID=t.TeamIDTeamName=t.TeamNameTeamStatus=t.TeamStatus}).SingleOrDefault(); return getteam; } but it shows an error like : Error 1 'Kiwi.Service.DL.KiwiDataContext.uspGetTeam(int?)' is a 'method' which is not valid in the given context E:\Kiwi Project\service\Kiwi.Service.DL\DataAccess.cs 47 50 Kiwi.Service.DL

Hi Error 1: You need to pass TeamID to stored procedure. But TeamID is not present in your code. You can pass memberid as teamid. I m not sure where is your teamid. Error 2: Most probably your stored proc is returning int. Just right on it in dbl file and change return type to complex object type(Team).

the error shows like : the name TeamID does not exist in the current context. foreach statement cannot operate vaiables of type int because int does not ciontain a public definition for GetEnumerator

am adding stored procedure to linq to sql class. in code behind am using this code public List GetMemberTeams(int memberid) { var TeamDetails = _DataContext.uspGetTeam(TeamID); foreach (Team tempRec in TeamDetails) { string name = tempRec.TeamName; } } but it shows some error.

Hi As per requirement please find below code: Create a class Team: Public class Team{ public int TeamID {get; set;} public string TeamName {get; set;} public int TeamStatus {get; set;} } Codebehind MyDBDataContext sqlObj = new MyDBDataContext (); var TeamDetails = sqlObj. uspGetTeam ( TeamID ); foreach(Team tempRec in TeamDetails) { string name = tempRec.TeamName; } I am not sure why are you passing multiple params if you don't need inside storedproc. So I have changed code and passing only TeamID. Prcoedure Create PROCEDURE uspGetTeam( @TeamID INT ) AS BEGIN SELECT TeamID TeamName TeamStatus FROM Team WHERE TeamID=@TeamID END
