How to get date from db to textbox

Question

Hi I have tried so far is $(#txtAddedDate).val(data.d.AddedDate);. But its output will be /Date(1415212200000)/. I need it in 03/06/2014 format.

Hi Ranjith try this : var curdate= $(#txtAddedDate).val(data.d.AddedDate); var datecheck=new Date(curdate); document.body.innerHTML = datecheck.getMonth() + '/' + datecheck.getDate() + '/' + datecheck.getFullYear(); //--> it should work.

Hmm.. try: var datecheck=new Date(document.getElementById(txtAddedDate).value); //this is your date document.body.innerHTML = datecheck.getMonth()+'/'+ datecheck.getDate()+ '/'+datecheck.getFullYear(); //--> put script this at last .And if you are getting value in txtAddedDate it will display correct format. best of luck !

Hi Ranjhit Actually I tried this : var datecheck=new Date(1415212200000); //this is your date document.body.innerHTML = datecheck.getMonth()+'/'+ datecheck.getDate()+ '/'+datecheck.getFullYear(); //--> it means $(#txtAddedDate).val(data.d.AddedDate) has incorrect value.so you have to correct this. if you will try above code will work fine.
