How to get email in Admin Page

Hi friend  I have one page ContactUs in which user fill there details on click of submmit button i get mail which conten details of perticular user My doubt is that how i will show Email of that user in my Admin Page plz help

There are many articles on how to send emails. Please go through them. You set a sender email ID (that will be offcourse your) and also a To email ID ( this will also yours). And then get set the contents page. Here I am giving an example by below link - http://www.c-sharpcorner.com/UploadFile/anjudidi/EmailSend10132009022448AM/EmailSend.aspx In this article find the code line - smtpClient.Send(mailMessage); After this line you can insert your code for inserting a record in a table. Table will have email details with IsRead (bool). This field will set True once you clicked on the record (grid showing un-read emails) for read in your Admin page. You can also delete these informative records from table as per your need. Yes it is possible to store the data in database and send an email to the admin with the data. You can code everything you want in the clicked event of your button. Do you host your website on a server with a database server (MS SQL Server)?

Hi sam my concept is that I have one website in which there is contact us page when user fill contact us page on submit button i get email which contain perticular user information i used smtp server for sending mail I am Admin person so in my Admin page i want to display email which is send by user is it possible for on submmit button email send as well as information stored in my database table so i will retrive that data in my admin page Thanx

How is the email sent? Is it sent by the server or by the client? If it is sent by the client then where do you receive it? If it is received in a system different from the server then it will be difficult to see it in the server system. There are many details of your system that we don't know about and that is probably why no one is helping. If you can think like a developer then you can provide the information we need to help you. If you can think like a developer then you might be able to solve it yourself.

Hi Sagar You can do it as Benjamin said. You need to store the information in database while sending email. In this way you will have two options to know/get user's enquiry - 1) checking your email and 2) From your Admin page Your Admin page can have a div/grid etc. to show latest enquiry. Once you clicked & read a record mark that record as Read in your table. So that this will always show you only un-read enquiry.

I think the best way is to save the email in a database before you send it from form. In you AdminPage you can select from the table.
