How to get memory usage from Task Manager?

Hi I have a windows app and I would like to get memory usage of this app when it's running. Is there a way to do this? best Regards.

To get the full working set of the current process in KB (private and shared memory) try: int memKB = (int)System.Diagnostics.Process.GetCurrentProcess().WorkingSet64 / 1024; See also the Process class documentation for further details: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.diagnostics.process.aspx

Note that we do not get it from the Task Manager but one place to get it is from the same place that the Task Manager gets it. Also note that use of memory in operating systems as complex as Windows is not as clear as we would prefer it to be. If you want to know for the purposes of efficiency then you need to know about things such as working sets page faults and how virtual memory works. It is complicated. The KB article Working Set Size Nonpaged Pool and VirtualLock() is one of very many articles describing the gory details.
