Hi Amol try to look into the following items: 1. If the records returned are greater in number  reduce that to less number by using the TOP clause in SQL. Or let the user enter more characters. 2. Cache your data and hit the cache to return the records. 3. Create a List which will reduce the number of records before passing that to the UI/Service. 4. Improve Query Performance at the database level.
