how to get textbox when we click on dropdownlist in c#

how to get textbox below when we click on dropdownlist in c#? i was having usernames in the dropdownlist when i select the user below it should display textbox that contains Emailid of the users and i have database userReg plzz help me

set AutoPostBack=true and On selected Index Changed write below Code protected void Dropdown1_SelectedIndexChanged(object sender EventArgs e) { string Check = Dropdown1.SelectedItem.Text; if (Check!=  ) { txt.Enabled = true; //add your value here according to your need txt.Text=Upendra; } else { txt.Enabled = false; } } here txt is the ID of textbox control use according to your need. bind it from your database.

On dropdownlist selection changed event call a object with userid with parameter that will give you emailid of user. Then assign that emailid to textbox.
