how to get txtDisplay.Text intelligent window in c#

hi I am new to this field.. I am not getting the txtDisplay.Text intelligent window in c# I am using vs 2010. may i know what is the reason??

Check your designer file ( .aspx.designer.cs) in this designer file there will be some auto generated code. search txtDisplay in designer file if it is generated then it will look like below: protected global::System.Web.UI.WebControls.TextBox txtDisplay ; if it is generated then intellisence will work for your text box otherwise not. if you have used this textbox inside any controls like repeater or gridview then directly you wont be able to access. you have to use findcontrol to read this textbox value.
