how to give dynemic tab headings in jquery ?

I was trying to implement something like http://www.makemytrip.com/railways/.
In this i am using a simple tab container by j query , so my question is how can i give or change the tab container's heading text according to the drop downlist's text means every time dropdown list values changes tab container heading will also change in asp.net

1) Select the active tab use by using tab control id and active tab CSS. So in jquery selector use your tab is and theses two CSS 'ui-tabs-selected' 'ui-state-active'. Once you get the active/selected tab go to its child anchor element this way you can access its inner text. Use any of thses methods to access the child element http://api.jquery.com/children/ http://api.jquery.com/find/ Nunc tincidunt 2) Capture the dropdown list change event and using point#1 change the text of tab Hope I answer you question!!! Hello Puneet if you have performance concerns the please go to JQuery Tabs they are lightweight cross browser compatible and also very easy to implement. I haven't used the Ajax tab container yet so i can not comment on it but JQuery tab is quite easy and flexible from designing and functionality point of view both. thanks adil. can you also suggest is it good to use ajax tab container in asp.net rather then applying a jquery tab as per website's performance
