How to highlight the selected node in tree view

Question

I am new in programming c#. If I had a button 'A' once I click on it  I would like the node 'A' in the treeview to be highlighed. May I know how to do it? Can any one provide a sample code? Thanks

private void btn_Click(object sender System.EventArgs e) { string nodeToSelect = b; for(int i = 0; i { if(tree.Nodes[i].Text == nodeToSelect) { tree.SelectedNode = tree.Nodes[i]; } } tree.Select(); } It loops through all the nodes and selects the node with the text contained in nodeToSelect. It becomes a problem when more nodes have the same text though. But then it could be based on the nodes' tags instead. Or even both. Regards Brian

when I compile the program it states that Error 1 'System.Windows.Forms.TreeView' does not contain a definition for 'SelectedNode_Id. Is there such a function or method in Visual C#? I am using Microsoft Visual C# 2005 Express Edition. Thanks

Highlight the node as oTree.SelectedNode_Id = A
