It looks to me as though the implementation which Dorababu found may only be available on a 30-day trial after which you have to purchase the component (see http://www.chilkatsoft.com/TrialInfo.asp ). If that's the case then there's a free implementation (also C#) available here ( http://www.koders.com/csharp/fidD5E0D7AC50858EA8F7131E8CD2746F3471A1B953.aspx ). If you decide to use this then I'd just compile it to a dll and use it from your VB.NET project without further ado. However if you want to translate it to VB then you may have to do it manually (should take an hour or so) as in my experience the free translators are not good at dealing with C# code which contains a lot of bit arithmetic. You certainly need to check the code they generate very carefully.
