How to Import Sharepoint list with data ?

Question

Hi... There is a new question in my mind on which i was working yesterday. I want to import a SharePoint list from SharePoint Online to SharePoint Server with data and Vise Versa But it is not working properly. After a long R&D I still not able to find the exact solution that how could I do this . Please Help me Out! Thanks In Advance!!☺

Yes there is a way but I guess you have to take the help of 3rd party tools like en-sharegate. It seems that you cannot do this. The reason behind is your SharePoint server will not updated same as SharePoint Online. The SharePoint Online is updated automatically by Microsoft and you can't control to that. For example if you are using SharePoint 2013 then your server will be using the major version 15 while SharePoint Online has been already updated and now SharePoint Online is using major version 16. The technical reason for problem is :- Lets say you are migrating the data from SharePoint Online to SharePoint on Premises then the data will look for assembly version 16.0.0.0 but your SharePoint on premises will still have older version 15.0.0.0. So it will not allow to migrate. If you have SharePoint 2016 on premises. Then probably you will not get error while back up and restore. Let me know if you need more information. It clear the confusion. but is there any way to change version 15 to 16 and vice versa ?
