how to import text file content in a database.

how to import text file content in a database. The text is seperated by the following symbol "|"

the form of the line is :

a|b|cdfaeff|00100|bombay|INR|India
n|a|yhfaaff|00102|bombay|INR|India

Hi Fiston use the sample below to achieve this purpose: BULK INSERT from 'D:\test.txt' with (FIELDTERMINATOR='|' ROWTERMINATOR='
