How to insert different sections of the form into database?

Question

Hi experts,

 

I have now sort of completed my first form.

Now, the form has different section.

In each of the sections, some data can be auto-populated from database using methods while some require users to enter themselves.

I'd like to know if I can just use a Update method to update the whole form once and for all ?

 

Is this the right way to do things or I should do it via insert first then follows by update and then edit ?

 

Hope to hear some experts views.

 

I have to use Stored Procedure in my web application.
