How to insert numeric and decimal values in datagridview cel

Hai In my project I want to enter numeric and decimal values in datagridview cell column  if I can enter the character string means it will throw a message like (only enter numeric and deciaml values). How can I do this  Please somebody help me to solve this issue . Thank you

U can use it. First u will use javascript like.. $(document).ready(function() { $('.checkboxgroup').keypress(function (event) { return isNumber(event this) }); }); function isNumber(evt element) { var charCode = (evt.which) ? evt.which : event.keyCode if ( (charCode != 45 || $(element).val().indexOf('-') != -1) && (charCode != 46 || $(element).val().indexOf('.') != -1) && (charCode 57)) return false; return true; } and use class=checkboxgroup inside TextBox like It work fine.
