How to insert table data based on other table id

Hi I want to insert values to one table based on other table id. if ID match then insert the data. Please give me sample stored procedure query. Thanks

Hi Please find below answer. we have two tables table1table2. If table2 id is matchs with table2 data then insert into table 1. create procedure usp_insert_data @id int @col1 @col2 as if exists (select 1 from table2 where id=@id) insert into table1(col1col2) values( @col1@col2 ) Thank you
