hi simon, I have already added .tlb as reference to VB project. Just to wanted to know how to invoke it from VB so that application is launched in .Net framework. I suppose it starts getting initialised in VB memory space.. Regards, Shweta

while refrencing a dot net appllication,we get it as .tlb file.. so how to use it in shellexecute command as it doesnot recognize it.

What about using the same command you would use to launch another executable file as with ShellExecute or another common one like the CreateProcess API. Simon
