Well, I'm no expert on Devanagari fonts but I think the short answer is that you can't use the Kruti Dev font to mix characters in a 'standard' textbox because it's a non-unicode font which doesn't support the Latin character set. A RichTextBox would be a different matter as you can mix different fonts within it but I think you're best bet would be to look for a unicode font (such as Arial, Times New Roman or Tahoma) which does support both Latin and Devanagari characters.

If you know the character code (in hex) for the unicode characters you want to display and if the font you're using supports these characters, then you can do it like this: // displays first 4 lower case letters in Greek alphabet string alpha = "\u03b1"; string beta = "\u03b2"; string gamma = "\u03b3"; string delta = "\u03b4"; textBox1.Text = alpha + beta + gamma + delta; There's a list of unicode characters and their codes here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Unicode_characters
