how to make textbox value as tool tip in asp.net?

Question

Hi frnds how to make textbox value as tool tip.my text box size is big.and in my project required txtbox value should be display as tool tip when dispalying data in gridview.. Requirment - i have a textbox in a form .and i am insert the data in db after insert data if m dispalying records in grid it sholud be like tool tip means when i over by mouse in textbox value then tooltip ill be display.

Hi Anjali, You can display tooltip in gridview column as below on RowDataBound event of gridview. protected void GridView1_RowDataBound(object sender, System.Web.UI.WebControls.GridViewRowEventArgs e) { if (e.Row.RowType == DataControlRowType.DataRow) { foreach (TableCell cell in e.Row.Cells) { e.Row.Cells[0].ToolTip = Convert.ToString(((DataRowView)e.Row.DataItem)["Address"]); } } } //Here Address is the name of column you can write your column name in place of Address.
