How to mask a phone number in MVC?

I want to use masking for the Phone Number. How can i do it in the model? or if any other way?

Server Side Validation. Since there is no builtin masking for phone number in MVC. SO you have to use Regex for it. like below. [Required] [RegularExpression(@ ^$\d{3}$\s{01}\d{3}-\d{7}$  ErrorMessage = Enter a valid number )] public string Phone { get ; set ; } For Client Side Use Jquery Mask plugin $(txtPhone).mask((999) 999-9999999);
