How to name set foreign key reference add alter

create a table in primary key not set name but table alter use foreign key set name SQL QUERY SEND

As you created FKey it would have some sys defined name so this is what you can do. sp_rename 'schema.ExistingForeignkeyConstraintName'  'newNameOfConstraints' N 'OBJECT'

If you are creating table then use below sql CREATE TABLE Orders ( OrderID int NOT NULL  OrderNumber int NOT NULL  PersonID int  PRIMARY KEY (OrderID) CONSTRAINT FK_PersonOrder FOREIGN KEY (PersonID) REFERENCES Persons(PersonID) ); If you want to add foreign key in your existing table then use below sql. ALTER TABLE Orders ADD FOREIGN KEY (PersonID) REFERENCES Persons(PersonID); OR If you want to give name to your foreign key then use below sql. ALTER TABLE Orders ADD CONSTRAINT FK_PersonOrder FOREIGN KEY (PersonID) REFERENCES Persons(PersonID);

Did you try like this: ALTER TABLE Tablename ADD FOREIGN KEY (ForeignKeyColumnId) REFERENCES OtherTable( PrimaryKeyColumnId )
