how to open file path

I have used the asp.net file upload control to browse the file from the local computer.But i need to get the file path in a textboxis that posible to use any other control except file upload control to get the file name path?

Hi If you want selected file path on client machine from file upload control then you can't because modern browser will not tell you the path on the client for security reasons. var filePath = FileUpload1.PostedFile.FileName; // File name with path. var fileName = FileUpload1.FileName; // Only file name. But in modern Browsers you will get only file name not full path.
