How to pass list as arguement to WCF

hi friends

i have to pass list as arguement to WCF

my code:

public string sendData(String details)

{

List<string>Students=new List<string>();

Students.Add("Name1");

Students.Add("Name2");

return insert(Students); ///error in this part show cannot poss list as arguement

}

my WCF service is

public string insert(List<string> details)

{

..........

............

}

HI you can pass the list in REST services. for that please perform that step. 1. create a rest services. 2. add the service refrence in your code. 3. call the service method . ex: in interface class [OperationContract] bool insert(List lstvalue); and wcf service public string insert(List details) { .......... ............ } after that add the service refrence and call the method.
