How to pass public properties to user control

HI..the scenario is like..i need to pass public property from aspx pages to this particualr user control and depending upon sme conditions i need to wrk out logic...so how to pass this public property values to User control..thanks..

Note that ASP questions should be put into the ASP forum. At what point do you need to pass the  property values to User control ? Do you need to at the time that the page is first loaded or sometime later? Do you need to do it in the server or at the client side?
