How to prevent my button from double clicking?

hi! everyone anybody help me to code my button preventing from clicking twice?

hi volpes thank you for the response...i just want my button click fire once and the data store in the database and if the user click accidentally twice in my button the messagebox show and the data don't store again in the database...

When you double click a button in Windows Forms the button's Click event fires first followed by the DoubleClick event. If you don't want to handle the button's DoubleClick event at all then I'd handle its MouseClick event (and not its Click event) as follows: private void button1_MouseClick(Object sender MouseEventArgs e) { if (e.Clicks > 1) return; // code for handling single click }
