How to put client validation

Question

I am new to asp.net. I want to know that how to put client validation on .aspx file?
Like; value in text box is numeric or not, you must have to enter the value in text box and so on. Please, help me for this issue.

For your problem one of the solution is that the custom validator control of asp.net will fullfill your this requirment also. Custom validator provide one property ClientValidationFunction just set it to your javscript function name. It's done. For validating on client side Asp.Net provides various validation controls. In your visual Studio Toolbox under there are 6 validation control use them.
