how to put DB tables into dropdown list

Question

Hello i want to know is it possible to view the data in the DB table in the drop down list box?

and when the item is selected from dropdown list box and its inserted into a another table and removed from the previous?

 

Ex: i have a table called 'Pets' and table 'Customer'.. So in adoption page the customer choose the data from Pets table from dropdownlist box and the customer data and customer chose pet will be inseerted into 'Customer' table and removed from 'Pets' table..?
