How to put image as default in literal tag

I need to put image in literal tag which contains the embedded PDF when there is no file like poster in video tag that image will show there is no PDF file available Also the same things thing I need to do it in iframe tag which contains jw video player please help thanks very much in advance

as per my understanding you said display image when pdf not available. is am right???? if you want do this put a single image and set src=image path. open opening job just check if pdf file available hide the image using jquey like $ ( img ). hide ();
