how to read .xls file format in c#.net using sql connection

As the question was about how to read .xls file format in c#.net using sql connection Assuming that the excel file is already stored in Sql server and to read it ........ here we can use sqlconnection In the Code provided where is the last line query been executed?

hi thanks for t reply....but i have a doubt... Why do people use oledb to read EXCEL  cant we use sqlconnection ??? i have to read file in such a way i have shown below... Below shown is the .docx file read format..
