How to reduce the loading time???

Question

I want to reduce the loading time of my project in server...that is MVC 4 project . Can any one help me what are the ways to reduce the loading time in server???

It's said a couple of times before but I will repeat it you must find out what makes your application slow To start you can use the following two options 1) You can use the development tools in the browser to see what is going on (already mentioned) 2) You can add the following to the system.web section in your web.config Do this on your development system only not on a live system; it will give you detailed statistics in which events your web application spends time when a page is requested. The above two should give you starting points for further analysis 3) Do you use a database? If so the problem might be with your queries / stored procedures so analyze them. That is where sql profiler comes in the picture. Are your tables properly indexed? Microsoft makes it far too easy to use a gridview or similar retrieve a million records and only display 10 or 100 using paging; totally stupid paging should be done at the database level (if you expect to have more than a few records).

Thnx fr ur quick reply..but I didn't get u wht ur telling..wht is Sql Profiler..see I don't want to store the data in cookie bt I wnt to store all UI scripts into cookie for incresing the performnce

HI priya I discuss with my Team leader regarding your problem.what know about sql profiler. it's may be help solve your problem. Note:- Cookies condition :- 4 kb storage and j 20 cookies only create as per respective website. Best of luck if you want really do this. ..

Script and CSS files are cached by the browser so it makes no sense to try and store them in a cookie. You need to use a browser's developer tools to find out what exactly is causing the performance problem.

see fr exmple while login into gmail info will be stored into cookies thn tht cookies we can disable ..if user disable mns thn we cn't use the gmail agn..soo that cookies disable thing is next ....I hve doubt abt this cn u??

hi store all javascript in one folder and only reference on pages. same work on css. main performance depend on sql. if you are not used linq you must be used linq. Linq performance increased.

My application performance is too slw for tht I found one sol in google..If we add all the scripts in Bundleconfig.cs thn some wht we can reduce the performance issue but after adding I din't found tht much perfrmnce diff ..So I want to add all the script files into cookies(What ever I hve in Bundleconfig.cs)Is it posble??

first of all cookies have only 4 kb data store ok why you need this??? I think we can do it. java script written in string format and cookies store only string. i can't do before but u can try.

First find out what exactly causes the delay. You can lazyload images for example or put files on a CDN move javascript files to the bottom use multiple domains for loading resources minify scripts and/or CSS optimize database calls use caching. Find the bottle neck first then optimize.
