How to refresh partial page in webform

Hi All I have idea that i can get partial page refreshment by using AJAX update panel but i m not that much of clear with that? I have gridview control with link buttons in it. Here when i click link button in gridview postback is performing. Actually in my page i have required fields. When i working with Gridview also its asking to enter those required fields. What to do for this?

Hi If you have grid you want to avoid postback then place the updatepanel. It will avoid the postback when click on the grid. When click on the other control outside the grid and want to do actions in the grid then you need to place the update panel. You need to write the trigger and control id to be assoiated.

You can create group validation and assign the validation to for the button which you need to validate on click of that.
