How to return multiple values from C# method?

Question

Does anyone know how to return a number of values from a C# method? I am coding a method that populates 2 arrays and I need to pass them back to main(). Any ideas?

You can return an array. In C# there are many types of arrays the simplist being something like this: string[] // array of strings or int[] // array of integers Or you can use ArrayList Or.... many options :)

You could look at using out parameters: (Example) http://www.c-sharpcorner.com/UploadFile/mahesh/out_and_ref11112005002102AM/out_and_ref.aspx Or you could create a class that contains whatever properties you want to return from some method make the return type of the method that class create an instance of object in the method populate its properties and return it after processing the method.
