how to run a project on iis server

hi i am new in asp.net iam trying to run a project in iis server but arises error the message is login user failed user/aspnet.could not connect the database .but when i run in the visual studio 2008 it completely run.Please any one help me

hi friend Go to your website properties in virtual directory then you have to set the authentication permissions...as Website properties->Directory security Tab-> Authentication and access control -> edit check the checkbox of Enable Anonymous user then you can also browse for local user if default IUSER is not working after this... then you can check the enable windows authentication and you problem of authentication will be resolved.. please mark the answer if you problem get resolved
