First download itextsharp.dll from http://sourceforge.net/projects/itextsharp/ .. First add the itextsharp.dll file into the application as click solution explorer- Right click on your application file-Add reference-On browse tab search the itextsharp.dll file from your computer-Click ok-Finish. Then you will notice that a Bin folder will be created where you will find itextsharp.dll file present inside that folder. StreamReader.ReadToEnd() returns a string. PDF files are binary, and contain data that is not string-friendly. You need to read it into a byte array, and write the byte array to disk. Even better, use a smaller byte array as a buffer and read in small chunks. You can also simplify the whole thing by just using webclient: using ( var wc = new System . Net . WebClient ()) { wc . DownloadFile ( Url , FileName ); } I got this from stack over flow thinking it might help you.

Getting error in this line : PdfWriter writer = PdfWriter.GetInstance(document, new FileStream(strFileName, FileMode.Create)); The process cannot access the file 'C:\inetpub\wwwroot\internal\SupportCommuniationFiles	eeest.pdf' because it is being used by another process.

Akkiraju can you explain your approach? I really do not say any possible way that that would work. For starters the Yogesh problem does not have anything to do with string and byte array... his problem lies with HTML format and PDF format. These are two completely different format and you cannot just write the HTML content into a PDF file... Yogesh what you need to do is convert a web page from HTML format into a PDF format with C# . You can do this with ease by using a GemBox.Document library, like shown in the above linked article. Pravin if you need to also convert the form's data that user put in then what you need to do is first call the RenderControl method. It will return the HTML content which will also include the user's data, after that you can create your PDF file from C# .
