How to search on TextChanged with huge data in MVC?

Hello Friends I want to search on Text changed event with huge data (Above 10000 records) with fast. I don't know how to do this? Can you give me the suggestion for that? Thanks in advance...

Hi I can help you out. First thing you need 1) jquery.ui libsrary which is having jquery.autocomplete() method which works on textchange 2) an ajax mathod to fetch data based on text provided. This ajax method will call webservice or wcf service 3) keypress event of textbox where you will call the ajax method to fetch the data. Hope this steps helps you out. I guess AutoComplete on textbox is your requirement. JQuery UI has AutoComplete widget you can simply use it. Go through below link and it has sample too. http://jqueryui.com/autocomplete/
